Pixie Contest Prep Thread

Thanks DJ for pointing me in the right direction. I will be meeting with John in the next few days to get started.

My nerves were shot to just stand there in a costume and receive critique.

I will be training with John once a week and have got my eating plan and training plan and am ready to go. Good news is that he said we will pull it off :woohoo: He said we need to get bf down to around 12%

Super excited to challenge myself.

My stats are as follows: (body fat is more realistic than the other measurements I got)

Weight : 62
Body Density : 1.059921
Body Fat : 16.959290
Fat Mass : 10.514760
Lean Body Mass : 51.485240

Cool!! World class guy hey.. super scary to look at but gentle giant!

Got just under 11 weeks to go and I can not wait to see what is in store.

I can see my body changing shape right before my very eyes and it gives you the motivation you need to keep going.

I live for Saturday nights when I can have a steak :lol:

Cravings have been really bad but I just have a glass of water and distract myself.

Will post pics over the next few days or once we do measurements.

John is an absolute blessing and I love our training sessions together and am strongly considering pushing it to twice a week (I can see myself working just to pay him :silly: ) but it is worth it.

And on the upside....I finally have the support of my partner :woohoo: Took a while but he has realised that I need him right by my side.

Sorry I've been gone for a while, did read but never posted.

Had measurements done on Tuesday and they are as follows:

Weight: 61.2kg
BF: 14%

I have ordered my costume and shoes :woohoo: and have registered so there is no turning back now :pinch:

I am still loving training and my diet has changed again so trying to get my head around that :whistle:

Still 8 weeks to go and I'm already super excited.

Good job, careful with those guns as you could hurt someone with them :lol:

So after a heart to heart with my man the weekend he has made his feeling known to me that he isn't happy about me doing comps and that he will not be coming with to watch

He said that should this be something that I want to do that it would be better if I find myself a man who would support me and who is also "into" it.

Months of hard work and it all comes down to this! I will still be taking part at the WBFF in June because I've already paid for everything but what if it is something that I want to pursue?

I understand that he doesn't feel comfortable with me being on stage in front of other men in a bikini and heels but it is a sport but he says you still get pigs :pinch:

He also isn't happy with me posting pics of my progress and other men liking it :whistle: I told him that I will continue to do it because I am super proud of myself because of where I have come from and it has taken a lot of determination and hard work.

Anyway, that is me feeling sorry for myself :silly:

the lack of trust is always a horrible thing. Not to follow a dream is even more horrible.

You have to follow your dreams and a Man who loves you should be supporting you no making threats. No ofence but he seems insecure and will cry like a girl if you walk.
If your not Married you should be gratfull.

On a liter note how are you finding it working with John? Are you still working with him?

Sorry to hear that and what a waste!!!!

My wife has tried to get me out of the gym and off the gear and the only reason is jealousy, i refuse to give up the one hobby that compliments me.

Good luck with your decision on that one, i know what mine would be... I know the passion that drives you.

My wife who doesn't need to train because she's naturally small and still young(9 years younger than me :lol: loves that I'm passionate about something and loves having a man on her arm who takes care of her and her Son rather than fat and sat at a Bar.
We all deserve support from our significant others, you can't sacrifice your happiness.

Relationships are about making sacrifices and finding the middle point that work for both parties. Being selfish will get you nowhere fast. I can sense that there's lack of cooperation from both sides of the relationship in finding a solution that will work for both.

There are two sides to a story and we're only getting one side, so jumping to conclusions about who is right and who is wrong is totally unfair.

Is a hobby really more important than the relationship? I see it often where people become obsessive about their bodies and then relationships and even family will be pushed aside. Those people usually only wakeup once it's too late.

As with everything in life you have to find the right balance.... good luck.
