Keep the focus Pixie gotta push even harder this last week and a bit of training. You are doing fantastic.

Keep calm and remember that you decided to do this; nobody is making you. Look at the positives and what you can do to improve; don't focus on the negatives or they will eventually halt your progress. Small steps add up over time, so even small victories are still progress. If you don't enjoy the journey, then what's the point in even competing?

Today is hair and nails, tomorrow is wax and prep for tan. Friday is athletes meeting and tan and Saturday is showtime :woohoo:

I'm overly annoyed right now though cause my shoes that I paid a shit load of money for have still not arrived and the supplier kinda has a slap gat attitude.

Will come in an update either before or after the show.

Thanks Nate40! Well I am happy to say that my shoes arrived last night :woohoo: and I might just fall my mielie off but I will just practice my butt off for the next 3 days.

Had my last meeting and bikini check with my coach yesterday and he is happy! It all comes down to the last few days. Just need to keep focused.

Thats why i never offered the info of the gym i attend on another thread, i am not easy to miss plus you have seen my tats etc. Um, chances are not probable as there will be many people there but i would like to meet you. I will know its you when i see you on stage though.

Listen, dont be so nervous, everyone there feels the same and the crowd watching are just people at the end of the day.

Even if you fall on your @ss you will still look good in doing so :whistle:

Just got back from the athletes meeting and having my tan done.

Everyone is so excited and I'm sure that no matter what the outcome, I will walk away with the memories of a great experience. My heart is sore cause my partner won't be there but I'll put on my big girl panties and enjoy and savour every minute of this experience.

If I could give advice on one thing about your first comp it would be:

Have fun and enjoy it regardless of the outcome. Most athletes that compete for there first time (myself included) get so worked up about how they will do and what other will think that they forget to just enjoy the day and show of the body that they worked so hard for.

So go out there and have fun, make it a time to remember!

All I'm going to say is WOW......what an experience! I loved every minute of it. My nerves were shot but by the end of the night it was easier to get onto stage without feeling nervous. I never placed but that wasn't my aim anyway and the experience was worth all the hard work and I will continue to build from where I am now.

I had a nice potjie tonight so feeling human again. I will take tomorrow off but Tuesday I'm back at the gym and going to take my body to the next level.
