Awesome points guys. Finding the balance can be difficult though.
I find my relationship has suffered a bit since February, because I am so keen to get better at gym.
I guess I have to learn to stand back occasionally and take a breath or I am going to lose her.

On a liter note how are you finding it working with John? Are you still working with him?

I am still training with John and absolutely loving it. I am now training with him twice a week.

I'm just glad he made his feeling clear to me and I will give up doing shows (even though I will only be doing one :lol: ) because if he is happy I am happy and my relationship comes first hands down. He doesn't expect me to give up gym which is good enough for me. I was just so pre-occupied with everything that I didn't realise how he really felt :oops:

Don't get me wrong, I'm not angry at him in any way, just a little disappointed that he wont be there on the day but understand his point 100%

That sucks. Give up what you love because your boyfriend has issues. Why can't he compromise from his side and support you?

My lady is a petite hoty as well but there is always one in the relationship thats insecure, non the less we move forward. You live what you learn and if their parents had trouble then expect insecurity, it will alway be there.

He is compromising by me still going to gym :silly:

It does suck and I acknowledge his feelings. Will see what happens after taking the stage because if it is what I want to pursue then we need to sit down again.

I am probably more insecure than he is :whistle: He had a previous marriage that was a mess because of her looking for attention from other men and infidelity so I cant blame him.

It sounds like the two of you found a compromise both can live with, well done.

Oupa I have never given him a reason to worry but he says he knows what pigs are out there. I get very irate when I get "attention" at the gym and many times have walked out. I am there to gym so let me be but men will be men.

See I was raised with the belief that trust is the foundation of any relationship. So if you trust her it doesn't matter if she is in Hollywood with Robert Downey Jr and a room full of celebs. My mom is that type that sees a hot girl walking by and says "check hierie stukkie" to me and my dad.

And my Mother told me that a ring never closed a hole. Lol.

My wife also felt like that at a stage. But then she realized, when i get off stage with my trophies, I walk into her arms! And everyone can see that I am HERS! And now she is so proud of me at every single show!
