BMS I deleted your comment by mistake sorry bro.

bms wrote: Ok ja get cause it took me 4 days to get into ketosis. Then one can do a CKD Split. 10 weeks on 1 day in a week carb up
whichever way you prefer. But did you do yours pryo? After discovering that down factor.

I do keto for months without a carb up. When I do a carb up it's actually more like 'life happened'. Like for example this weekend away I had no way in hell of eating keto so that means this week is a write off in terms of proper fat loss.

@MM: Leucine will help yes but don't expect something major.

DK, try get someone to measure your fat % bud...
Yea you can try a varied diet diet, but don't just jump into it. Carbs will have to be reintroduced slowly.
Patience bud...

When it hurts... That's when i start counting, because that's when it starts to count.

"You will take +-3-5 days to adjust your enzyme levels to fully focus on carbohydrates. During this time you need to take it very easy with the carbs as this is where people fall off the bus. Stick to the true healthy fibrous low GI carbs like oats and sweet potatoes and mielies not more than 100g carbs per day and eat them on their own. No cheat meals during this period. It's like when a baby eats porridge for the first time- you don't wanna stuff him to the rafters, just enough to get him used to it and nothing fancy."

When do I take the carbs pre and post workout or in the morning or split up throughout the day?

And when I start introducing the carbs back into my diet , do I still carry on with fats or do I eat X amount of protein + 100g of carbs and leave out the fats?

Post workout is ideal otherwise just split throughout the day. Your calories still need to balance out so you need to deduct fats from your diet to allow for the carbs.

So I can eat fats up until pre workout and have 100g carbs post workout ?

Could I do 50g dextros and 50g low GI carbs like oats 45min after the dextros as my post workout?

Or is it better to stick to low GI carbs and eat 100g low GI carbs post workout?

As long as it's post workout the dextrose should be fine.
