so another little dieting hack i have been using whilst prepping is making my own homemade ice cream on low carb days.

so in 2 of my meals I have a shake containing 25g of high-quality casein protein and 25g of high-quality whey protein and 20g of peanuts. so I take 7 big ice blocks, 10g of psylium husk, and my 50g of blended protein powders and 5g of salt and 300ml water(yes you heard right, I take in about 20g of salt a day at this stage to keep muscle fullness.) and I blend it to a thick and creamy consistency, I then take the blender container and stick it in the freezer for an hour, and then scrape the sides and blend again, and stick it back in the freezer for another hour, and then a 3rd time. by the 3 hour mark the water that is used to blend the "ice cream" is no longer liquid and it doesn't have big ice chunks because you have broken them down with the blender a few times. really nice consistency, and low calories and high In protein.

I would use dry ice for this, but I can't get hold of any at this stage. So the science behind it is the dry ice instantly freezes the liquid and doesn't allow for big ice crystals forming, and gives you a really creamy consistency. if you have ever watched cooking shows where they make ice cream with liquid nitrogen, it is the same concept, just dry ice is more readily available really.

so just a little hack for you guys who are dieting and battle to stick to your diet without having the sweet treats.

ok anyone got a more accurate pedometer idea that is better than just a normal cell phone? I literally walked for an hour and 30 mins whilst on the phone with Pacho123 from the forum and only counted 2500 steps on the phone, so I might be off with my step count, either that the phone doesn't count the steps whilst talking haha. that being said, I got at least my 10 000 steps in for the day, I will do photos again on Friday morning at 7 weeks out for a comparison.

Check out locust bean gum to reduce ice crystal size ???????????????? Could give you more room for error and less hands on work. Very common ingredient in ice cream

I switched from npp to primo as it was just easier to do than try and figure out the cause or adding cost to take more drugs to combat it.

ok so here with my update.

5 weeks out, bodyweight is fluctuating, which to be honest is the usual case with me.

nutrition currently is 2400 calories, step count is a minimum of 12000 a day, which is a bitch, but when I have to boil it down to actually walking, it's about 2hours a day walking, which I do dedicate walks to get that number in.

Gear at 5 weeks out :
UPA Primobolan at 400mg per week
UPA test Cyp at 250mg per week
UPA Anavar 50mg daily.
Daily t3 use due to hypothyroid is 40mcg daily.

so with 5 weeks left, I am off of the clen, for 2 weeks and in its place, I have added in yohimbine HCL at 20mg daily.

Yohimbine is well known for its water retention properties so I'm going to stop that 1 week out from the show, I am also using a topical fat loss gel called Dermotone to target the lower back and glutes.

I will start the clenbuterol back at 3 weeks out, and run it into the show, and hopefully, with the last week being very inactive, the water should come off quite easily.

overall, hunger is a bitch at this stage, It's harder than you think but oh well, strength is still climbing at this stage due to the Anavar doing its thing, and I say climbing, I am still trying to keep the weight as heavy as I used to, just increasing the reps, I have also subbed out some exercises that I usually feel I risk injury on at this stage of the prep like DB chest press got pulled for chest press machine, as picking up those 62s is a nightmare on your own, luckily I have got guys that can lift 50kg dumbells for my shoulder press and that's pretty constant at 7 to 9 reps with 50kg dumbells.

Skiploads are still full day but I have cleaned up the food sources trying to limit fat intake too much, still crushing at least a loaf of bread in the form of french toast and box of cereal each load, got a thing at the moment for apple crumble so been smashing homemade one on my loads.

with 5 weeks to go, the intention is to carry on working my ass off, etching away at what body fat is left, which sits on my love handles and hamstrings, but pretty confident about that coming off before the show. i really want to be undeniable when it comes to condition, want the rest of the line up playing for 2nd place.

Chalk and cheese bro. Absolute incredible job, I think one of the biggest things you nailed this time around is getting to understand your body even better. The inclusion of the cardio, the level of strength in your lifts, ye you didn't do it last time but the limited use of hormones and diuretics like the time before last (your body wasn't a happy camper, now you walking around with your health and in epic shape), the change and structure of your cycle over the last 6 months and yes your discipline was on point with your previous compo (not missing leg days, etc), this time your intensity in your training was at another level.. Just be careful of those heavy weights you swinging around still :)

I must say your skip loads are what I really find fascinating, that you able to get that much food down the hatch ;)

Just make sure you find a way to fix your sleep, I couldn't think of anything worse than picking up the flu this close to showtime.

At this stage I think it's just extreme exhaustion, and being so lean that is affecting my sleep. It's been a very long prep, but I'm getting it done.

For those wanting to know my skipload on Sunday was :
400g box of milo cereal
Full English breakfast with 4 slices of toast
Slice of carrot cake
150g slab of chocolate
80g slab of chocolate
600g gummy sweets
A pie
4 rolls with pork rashers
Oven bake sweet potato chips
Apple crumble with custard
A 300ml orange juice
And about 100g of raisins.

So I had to get a bit drastic in order to get to my weight cut off, so I do a protein sparing modified fast. Which basically consists of 350g protein a day, 30g of fat and veggies. I did that for 10 days and came down 3.5kgs and have now cut protein back and added in some carbs.

Really keen to see what happens when I pull the yohimbine and get that water out the way. I will also be experimenting with anadrol( anapolin) to see what it does for fullness and condition and see how I would use it before the show.

Going to be interesting. Also going to add in 50mg of proviron daily from UPA for the last 2 weeks to see how dry and hard I cam get.

Not to bad as I don't have too many of them, heart burn is a killer at times, but also that is due to the anavar and pure volume of food. The heat produced after massive loads is not fun, and the lack of hydration also makes it hard, so you wake up swesting in the night, skin feels like it is going to split and your mouth is drier than a nuns cunt. It ain't always fun, but I have to learn how much carbohydrate I need in order to be able to full out.
