i always have scopex and eno's around for the night of a cheat meal,i can get some sleep that way,i also keep a towel handy cos i get the carb sweats...

Had some scopex luckily and that seemed to help, but only ransacked later looknig for it when the cramps got too bad to handle.

I'll try the starchy carb route next week with lots of peanut butter and burgers muesli etc

Tonight I am going to TRY and fit in a medium pizza (all the topping), 200g slab chocolate, a bowl of ice cream and chocolate sauce and my own 2L creme soda. :X

Some funny reason I ALWAYS crave all-bran or muesli with milk and honey so gonna have that then more then some more but gonna have a proper meal first - meat potatoes rice or what ever the family has that night

tippster, have u followed dave's diet to the t? using fillet steak etc for your red meat source? i find that i his macro nutrients are fat out,he will say have 1/2 a gram of fat per pound yet if u work out the macro nutrients its pretty much 3/4 of a gram per pound... i have adjusted my diet and now the results are defiantly showing... how long have u been doing it and how much have u lost?

I have been following it but it is adjusted slightly to abot 0.6g fat per pound and protein to about 1.3g per pound - Someone is helping me with this though and he knows what he is doing when it comes to this stuff.

I do change my meals slightly eg today is tuna instead of chic but I also noticed there are some discrepencies - in his Q and A he says you can swap 1.5tbsp of pb for 1/3 cup nuts but 1/3 cup is double the fat and kcal of 1.5tbsp of pb.

I am down abou 5/6 kg this week but def mostly water.

How long u been on it and how your results?

Its more than likely just water weight bro.
Like Dj said carbs hold water at a 3:1 ratio.
1 gram carbs to 3 grams water

I see thanks a bit of a shock just after 2 hours of cheating you think you have just thrown all the previous weeks dieting out the window.

Same happens to me, it does suck a bit, if I cheat on Saturday, I'm usually back to my previous weight by Monday morning though....

I weigh, do bf, muscle percentage and water weight every day... Its crazy to see what happens if you don't stick to the diet to a T.....

ok what u need to realise is that there is 9000calories in 1kg body fat. now in a cheat meal u are gonna get in 2000cals,maybe maximum 3000cals, so if u getting those all from carbs 500g-750g of carbs x 3 will be 1.5kg - 2.25kgs and thats excluding what will be retained if u have heavy salted foods... so in order for u to gain 1.5kgs of fat in your cheat meal period u need to have 13500 calories... which is a lot so dont stress, its all water...

Yeah, was thinking its water, just a bit more confident after you've confirmed it :)

My BF stayed largely the same after a cheat meal the next day, water did go up a lot....

you guys shouldn't obsess with the scale, especially on a keto diet, dont weigh yourself everyday, water adds a lot of mass so in your subconscience mind you think you've picked up weight when you haven't and you set yourself up for failure. rather weigh yourself every two weeks, once a week if you have to

I do the entire thing, Body fat, muscle water.... I know its obsessive but it drives me to fight for every percentage loss.... 0.1 % is 0.1 % :) I more just do it as a log, and match it to caolorie/nutrient intake and calories burnt, just to see if I can see a pattern...

okay I had my cheat meal last night, 1 medium pizza(all the toppings), 1 Kentucky rounder, 100g slab chocolate, 1 chocolate eclair, 2 x slices peppermint tart, 2x caramelo bears, 4 chockits cookies, and 1.5L Creme Soda.
I was stuffed, I thought I was going to drop dead, my heart was pounding and I was sweating, had to lay on my bed for about 2hrs to try and recover.

Today I am 2.5kg heavier than yesterday

As dj said, its mostly water, the number of cals you would have to eat to gain 2.5 kgs of fat is enormous especially in the space of a day. Dont weigh yourself the day after a cheat meal, its demotivating, rather weigh yourself the morning of the day you plan to cheat

Guys guys guys, sting is 100% on the money with her answer,u should weigh yourself once a week, first thing in the morning after you have been to do your business in the bathroom and had a shower the day of your cheat meal.that way u have depleted for a week and dropped the water and the fat for the week and u will have an accurate weight on the scale...its pointless weighing every day like sting says cos some days u might be retaining extra water as u may have a bit more salt in your diet or something might just change slightly,u need to be patient, fat does not all of a sudden arrive in one night so its not gonna go away just as fast...always give yourself 12weeks to loose a decent amount,u will be suprised after 12weeks what u can do...
