You gonna love the feeling bro - Ive been on a keto diet for a few weeks and have never ever felt so energised in my life!

I swear I could live on a keto diet - I have no craving whatsoever and I have to actually remember to eat my meals cos im always full.

tippster u can stay on keto,when u are bulking u can still use keto but up the calories and keep your carbs to certain times of the day and u will still have the same keto effects :)

well thats one of the main reasons why im gonna love keto.on carb diet the cravings are unbearable and hate the ffeling of going to bed hungry,tummy sounds like a volcano.

well today i ate my first keto meal,ate breaky at 7:30,by 8:30 i normaly start feeling a bit hungry and im not at all.

well from my first meal of the day to now 9:30am ,2hours later im still not hungry and i have to eat again at 10am

Sum of the things I noticed was a metalic taste in the mouth after first 3-4 days; insatiable thirst for water; slow bowel movement

then u are not taking in enough fiber if u are having slow bowel movement,also who is doing your keto diet for u as u might be doing something wrong like too few calories shutting down metabolic rate.how much cardio are u doing? thirst is because the protein and fats act like a diuretic and u will piss out most your water...up your salt intake to hold water...

Thanks for the tips

Those symptoms were experienced when I started, and have adjusted calories and up'd the fibre as I started the diet with very hard cardio 2 weeks ago but have since changed to a moderate intensity cardio.

also changed fat sources which is when I started seeing a difference.

I will definitely get you to customise my diet :)

Bro u need alot of help.any cardio that gets your heart rate too high is the devil on keto,it will burn into your muscle so quickly and the weight loss u will be seeing is will be mostly muscle,if u have only been doing keto for a couple weeks and have had to adjust things then there is something very wrong,the diets i do for keto is what u get given is the diet for the duration,the things that change are your burners and cardio,i base all cutting diets on lean body mass so if u are not doing that u are in for a world of trouble.i suggest u email me asap and i'll take the guess work out of it for u...

(hijacking is normal in SA :-)-just kidding),belive you me DJ will sort you out.

Well im on day 2 ,had a pulverising legs workout yesterday,was stil strong squatted 160kg for 6-8 reps.

but feeling totally opposite today,feeling weak,slight headache,light headed feels like no strength in my hands,hard to even clench my fists.walking in slow motion.

the diet is going very well,i dont feel hungry at all have to like force food down when its time to eat

your body is starting to deplete glycogen now,by the end of the week u will be 100% and in full blown ketosis,watch u will feel great in a couple days...

Barbell i would think that the principal of keto is low to zero carb with moderate polyunsaturated fats.so if it is low to zero then would be fine.Im sure DJ will rectify my statement if its wrong

fair enough....Ive read up quite a bit on the diet itself but some finer details need ironing out. Hows it working for you?

I also read that caffiene should be eliminated but on other articles I read it said it would be useful to introduce an ECA stack...comments?

Barbell so far so good.m diet was done by DJ and he said no caffeine ,so no caffine it is.I also read some articles saying eca stack is good.but looking at keto ,why do u need a fat burner when the diet itself is major fat burner.

anyways im on day 2 and just started feeling the effects of glycogen depletion so just waiting to overcome that and i should be in ketosis
