Blacktoe wrote: Hi Ondier

Firstly thank you for supplying us with quality local products especially the BSSA whey protein concentrate range.

I recently ordered some whey concentrate and used the eft options on your site. Now there are two courier options. Post office and Fastway.

Now the amount charged for the post office service is it for speed service or for the normal slow post office service?

Reason i am asking this is, I still havent received my package and tracked the parcel online its still in PTA. Also from the tracking number alone I was informed at the post office that you guys used the slower post office courier service which is way cheaper than the one i got charged for on your site for the faster speed services which has a max of 1.5kg worth of goods attached to and that i paid for on your site.

May you please shed some light onto this sir.

Thanks for the post Blacktoe and thanks for the support

The Post Office service we use is counter to counter, and takes about 2 - 4 days, depending on your area.

The post office service is a bit slower than usual because of the recent strikes ( Current notices )

Our shipping charges are fixed- does not matter if you order 100g DAA or 30kg Protein.

Sometimes we score on the shipping, sometimes we loose. :silly:

Thanks Admin

Hi Guys,

We had a talk in the office today and a couple of us guys decided that we were going to try the raw supplements. After a few google searches I came across the BSSA website, and I must say the prices are looking very good. The only problem I am having, is how would one go about mixing all the products?

Is there anyone that can assist on some instructions on how much of what needs to be added?

Thanks lot

JK

Hi JK. There are directions and suggested uses on the packaging itself with recommended dosages. Then you just look at what your fav supplements contain and mix it according to the dosage recommended.

Otherwise you can contact the BSSA guys themselves. They are very helpful and will go out of their way to help you the best they can! Let me know if you have trouble getting hold of them or need any help!
By the way, try their natural peanut butter! It is a must in any diet!! :P

Good afternoon JK

Thanks for the post bud. As per Flex's post all our supps has got general recommended dosages. That is the usual start off dosages for all. But the beauty of it all is you can mix and match as needed and required.

Everyone's dosages will be different. Age, gender, workout intensities, all of that will play a roll.

Take our protein as an example. My protein needs and macros will not be the same as your's. With our protein concentrate you know you get 81.5 gram of protein for every 100 gram. And that goes for all the other supps.

We all take them plain and raw as is. With water only. Some guys like to take it with skimmed milk, or flavor it with peanut butter, coffee, nesquick.

A very nice flavoring to use for flavored or raw supplements is Amila sachets. Available at SPAR and Checkers. Contains vitamins, minerals, calcium and zinc, and no preservatives or tartrazine. Contains only a little dextrose in some of the flavors. 7 flavors available at R3.99 a sachet. Makes 1 litre but I use it for 3 shakes

This is the nutritional values and flavors of Amila: Amila nutritional values

Please send me an email if you need any other info or if I can assist with anything else.

We will also have our first ever exhibition at this weekends IFBB Novice Gauteng North, in Pretoria North. If you are around please come and say hi and support us.

Super excited!! :woohoo:

Hi,

Does anyone use the BSSA Whey Calcium Caseinate?

I have been using the Whey Isolate and can easily mix 30g - 40g in 300ml water and it is perfect.

I purchased the Whey Calcium Caseinate and mixed 40g with 300ml water and the result was disastrous. Within 3 shakes turned into thick sludge. It looked like pudding.

I presume it is they different type of whey that causes this effect so are there any suggestions about liquid/powder ratios that will work? I don't want to waste anymore until I am sure I can get it into a drinkable liquid.

Thanks.

Hi Joshua

Sorry for the late reply bud. Yes Caseinate forms a thick gel / clot when it gets mixed- it is this property of Casein which results in the slow and sustained release of protein and amino acids. It gets even thicker in your stomach.

Use more water. Or make two shakes. I chew - drink mine :P

Le Blender :) 10 seconds with a crappy stick blender even and fully mixed.

@Flex - thank you for the mention of the peanut butter quality...was eyeing that now myself. You made up my mind. Thanks man.

Yes I agree- Al of our supps mixes perfectly with the crapiest of blenders or even in a shaker or normal water bottle with a few vigarous shakes.

We did an exhibition at the IFBB Novice Gauteng North show on Saturday. The BSSA peanut butter was our greatest mover by far! :P

I'm also glad and very proud to say our Sponsored athlete took 1st place of his division in Classic Bodybuilding and then he took the Overalls division too!

Super proud B) B) B)

BSSA also sponsored the Overall Men's winner with a supplement hamper. So it all worked out nicely as I handed the trophy and the supps hamper over to our own athlete!

Exciting times! :woohoo:

Cheers cheers

Good morning buds

Maximal Pak update and other BSSA news

Can I please ask the guys that ordered Maximal Pak from BSSA to get in touch with me via email? We are still uncertain of the ETA for the Maximal Pak and would like to refund you for now.

This is the only product at this stage that is giving us a bad rep.

The rest of our orders and products are moving without any problems.

I got in to BSSA full time from the beginning of the year and we are very excited about the future of BSSA.

We started to do exhibitions at the IFBB and NABBA shows and the feedback is just tremendous and overwhelming.

If you have not liked our Facebook page yet- please do so here to keep updated with our new products and news.

We are planning to expand our product range in near future. We want to add in more fat loss compounds like Green Tea extract, Raspberry ketones, Pure Caffeine etc.

And then we are looking at some of Lee Haney's supplement recipes and want to see if we can premix some of those too.

We have got three sponsored athletes now and we are super proud of them.

Every day is a challenge for us as a small supplement company with new goal settings to improve and keep our services, products, and prices better than our rival's. But we believe we are doing a great job in achieving our goals.

Some people still complain about our service from 2 years ago. It was challenging times and we expanded too soon for our own good. We couldn't handle the orders in a timely matter. But since January 2013 we had only good service and feedback from our clients.

Our business are much more structured now and we are definitely going to be around for a while - We are looking forward to bump heads with the major supplement companies as our prices are too low and we already heard through some channels we screw up the market with our low prices.

Now we just need to educate the masses out there that a R200 Creatine is not necessarily better than a R80 creatine, and a R600 Isolate with 900 grams Protein at 72% purity is not better than a R280 Isolate with 1kg grams Protein at 91% purity B)

Yeah bro Agmatine would be awesome as well as some Creapure and pure Leucine. :) Very excited about the possibility of Green Tea Extract and Caffeine powder! B) Please make sure that the green tea is very high in catechins. If possible you should think about stocking Quercetin along with the Green Tea Extract. The problem with Green Tea Extract is the bio availability is very low. Quercetin greatly increases the bio availability of green tea catechins.
