Thanks for the post.
On a low calorie deficit diet/fasting diet which inevitably slows metabolism, what can one do to keep normal metabolism in check. (other than the T3 route as there is no AAS being used)
I think I recall reading a post where you mentioned something about this when giving someone else advice, been searching for days and days to find it to no avail.

During the week I do 45 minutes of cardio consisting of 15 minutes cycling, 15 minutes rowing and 15 minutes tredmill, Saturdays I normally do a bit of weight training.
A friend suggested that I take Clen to assist and I've been on it for a week now but haven't lost any weight. I must mention that I started on a low dose of 20mcg and steadily increased the dosage. I did research Clen before I started it and did read this thread.
Am I doing anything wrong, or is this a commen occurance? I would appreciate any advise.

Been using Betasleep for a while now with Clen.
Do you guys have any links to any literature showing it's effectiveness in upregulating Beta-2 receptors? Read a few forums where it was heavily debated and the general consensus was it does not. Or not very well. Thoughts?
Secondly, I picked up on some older posts here that other OTCs contain Ketotifen but it seems they've been discontinued?

Give a search for Benadryl, I'm sure you'll get something relevant. Back in the day when I first read up on it, I also came to the conclusion that 2 Betasleep caps would be the equivalent effective does.
Ketotifen would be the better option IMHO, but yeah, been discontinued for a while. It was also hellish expensive by comparison.

This is one of those where you can test it on yourself then you will quickly realise the truth.

I was able to acquire some Adco-Zetofen last year when I was giving clen a try. It was not easy but the hospital pharmacies are able to place a special order for you.
I actually still have 2 bottles sitting here in my room, unopened. I also tried some beta sleep but preferred the zetofen as it was easier to take as I cannot swallow tablets / pills.
Regardless, I felt as if my tolerance towards the clen increased rapidly as my side effects were minimal compared to my friend - the side effects decreased with time despite the dose increasing. I was able to go upto 120mg and I would get some slight shakes around 60 minutes after consuming for 30 minutes. So I would imagine tolerance build up is more the beta 2 receptors being down-regulated and the stuff I was on was not doing as great of a job or my body is just a bit weird
The clen did tire me out in the gym though, soo much effort to do things. Endurance was horrible.

I've heard some guys taking two a day (80mcg) and then skipping a day or two?? Also would you say supplementing with Taurine will help control your heart's rhythm?

Regarding the cramps, most common fix is sorting your electrolytes out. Get your salts balanced. Taurine helped me in this regard too. Also, might sound obvious, but ensure you are hydrated.

Anti-catabolic effects are amazing but still would say the side effects are a bit much... Headaches, shivering hands, muscle cramps everywhere and not to mention your heart pulsating away 24/7.

Pur-bloka 10mg 3 times a day. No coffee or pre workout if you want a natural route motherwort, 10 drops 3 times a day.

Found Adco-Zetofen at the first Dischem I walked in today. R105 for a 200ml bottle. That gives 40mg of Ketotifen. Enough for about 15 days.
Will try it from tonight on instead of the Betasleep.

If we take Beta-Sleep / Adco-Zetofen / Ketotifen to slow down the down-regulation of Beta-2 receptors while on Clen, would that imply taking them while not on Clen could help up-regulate or increase the number of these Beta-2 receptors?
If so, it should (in theory) help with fat loss when not on Clen as it could potentially alter the ration of A2 vs. B2 receptors, especially in those stubborn fat areas?
Anyone tried this?
