I was on board with lockdown for quite some time, now in hindsight, I see it hasn't really done much at all, except fuck up the economy.

Thanks for your honest post. You are not alone and the eyes of many have been opened by taking the "red-pill". This is probably the only good thing about the entire lockdown.

At least people have begun to realise that a communist/socialist government is evil and should never be trusted and in fact should be removed from power.

The human species is so good at adapting that even the worst possible conditions are soon considered “normal” and that is what the communist scumbags are trying to achieve by extending the state of disaster and spreading the “new normal” propoganda. They want you to accept and adapt to their control over you, which should not be allowed.

I will not let a bunch of repulsive communist shits tell me what to consider normal, or make me feel guilty about my gender or race.

Im worrying about this covid-19 lockdown from an academic perspective. University exam acceptance rate has dropped to 35% from the previous 45% at UP. It's a stupid excuse to get more people to pass and eventually causing more "behind ones" to slow down the rate of class. -It's frustrating cause a syllabus is a syllabus so what happens is they just throw in everything u shouldve studied but not the stuff they went through in lectures-

Economically im waiting for the worst recession ever to hit us properly. I think the government will finally wake up then... But maybe my hopes are just too high.

So I was speaking to one of my guys this morning. He is not very well educated as he dropped out of school to start working. However he was educated enough to ask me “how can 500billion disappear in 4 months and nobody knows where it went, I can’t even lose R500 and I’ll have some idea of where it was”.
I don’t do so well in discussing politics, but this guy hates the ANC!! He wanted to go into a discussion but it was way too early for that discussion and I asked him to hold on for another day. Had a good laugh though

Anyone have any experience in passport applications during Lockdown? As far as I can gather one cannot apply for a new passport (mine expired in 2017 and haven't had the need to renew it). I have received a job offer from an overseas school and the plan is to fuckoff come December/January and work abroad for a few years. However, I don't have a passport and the authorities haven't released any information on revised services now with Lockdown level 2, at the department of home affairs.

We're in contact with a lady at Home Affairs in a smaller town in the Western Cape who might be able to help us, but I don't really know what to do except sit and wait for some or other announcement.

Has anyone seen the Ivor Cummins videos? He compares graphs and statistics from prior flu seasons as well as compares the graph curves in various situations. He ultimately proves(objectively through data) that not only do lockdowns not do anything in stopping covid(he shows it is primarily dictated by seasonality) but even masks aren't a proven tool to combat the virus.

He also shows that we're no longer in a pandemic, it actually ended around the middle of the year for most countries. He shows how we're now in what he termed a "casedemic". Very interesting and gets me wondering, "so why are lockdowns STILL being implemented in various countries now that we know that the virus actually isn't what we feared it could have been?"

I'll link below for those interested:

Yes, there is no second wave or increase in fatalities coming. It's all bullshit and there is and was no reason for lockdown whatsoever. PANDA and others have been saying this since April. Now even those useless fuckwits from the WHO is saying that lockdown serves no purpose: www.news.com.au/world/coronavirus/global...1b7b291b297731c3da74

There is no use for wearing masks at all and I don't support businesses that force me to wear one. Together with government they can all go to hell.

I share your view totally Admin

If any government wants to go back into another lockdown(apart from the fact that it defies science) it PROVES that they didn't do their job first time round. Remember the whole justification INITIALLY was to "prepare the healthcare system"... so why would we need a second lockdown if you did your job in the first one? :silly:

They just move the goal post. Even the UK, they just upped their testing by a factor of 20-25x to show a "surge" to try justify their actions.
