unfortunately for me, that usn chocolate whey was the first whey protein i ever bought! so after the one scoop, i emailed customer care to enquire whether it does taste like that, to my surpirse, i got a nasty email in return, stating how different materials would yield different tastes n so forth... which is why i wouldnt buy supps from usn again.

a few weeks ago i bought a 2kg tub of fast grow anabolic, choc flavour.... after one serving, i sold the tub for R50!! not only did it taste disgusting but i honestly had to mix one serving with just over a liter of water so that i didnt choke on it!!! USN sucks. full stop.

it was so bad, im too scared to buy an other mass builder just incase the same thing happns. so now i just buy pure proteins and add my own carbs.

I have been using LIT UP as a pre-workout from Applied Nutriceuaticals... It has DAA also in it, as a test booster... REALLY potent stuff... If you going to take it... start with a LEVEL scoop... Definitely more potent than 2 scoops of Jack3d!

Can anyone reccomend a good L-Garnitine for me please. A friend of mine is on a diet from dj and needs to use 2000mg before a workout. I can't get hold of dj at the moment so thought I will ask here.

So.... Haven't updated this in years and I am procrastinating (Test week) So here are two new ones. I actually have quite a few to do but will add those later hopefully.




Name: SuperPump MAX

Company: Gaspari Nutrition

Flavour: Grape

Price: R469 when I bought it (I see it is now at a liberal R539)

Taste: 6/10, the sour kick can be a little bit cringe worthy but definitely bearable.

Pump: 24/10, the pump hurts… It’s brilliant, I was on creatine as well and eating bananas for the potassium PWO but even without those the pump was still definitely the best I have had.

Focus: 8/10 Good aggression and focus but it after a while it is a little toned down.

Energy: 9/10 it gives a very ‘clean’ sustainable energy throughout the workout.

Strength: 6/10 Didn’t experience anything spectacular.
Mix: 5/10 there is sediment caked to the walls of the cup every time and that hard powder on the top when mixing.

Other notes: If you chase the pump, this guy is no.1 in my opinion. Aggression and energy is great on it as well and the crash is a fairly light gradual plummet rather than a crash and burn feeling.

Over all: 9/10 (Due to the pump being so exceptional, 8.5 if not)

Taste: 10/10, great taste.

Pump: 6/10, pump is less dominant in certain muscle groups for some reason, as opposed to superpumps overall pump.

Focus: 10/10 tunnel vision on this stuff is phenomenal.

Energy: 4/10 honestly I struggle to tell if this stuff works with regards to energy.

Strength: 6/10 average, same as superpump.

Mix: 10/10 no sediment after, a very clean mix.

Other notes: The one thing pissing me off is that I am already on 3 scoops of this supplement and I was only on 1 maybe a week ago and there is very little change apart from a more drastic crash

Over all: 7/10 (If it wasn’t for the mixing and focus I would honestly rate this supplement quite poorly)

The micro version is basically a whole different product, it has a completely different ingredient profile focused more on quality pumps,strength and muscle gains unlike the old version that was more a stimulant based supplement that gives you turnell version focus and a fat ass crash. Give it a try.

loved the tunnel vision! Currently have crea-pump and condense.

I want to give the new shotgun formula a try next. For that price hopefully it will deliver.

This neurocore and I do not agree.. Crash today is so obscene I am literally getting that cold phase before pass out. Yoh.. Next time I will stick to something I know haha.

Good energy - but didnt like that extreme tingle, not for me.

Using condense at the moment, must say, it's really enjoyable, pumps are AMAZING!! Focus is decent too, no crash post workout, and still only using one heaped scoop,
